The rim is 45mm deep with a 25mm internal width, and it supports tires from 28mm road tires up to 45mm gravel tires. That range is not there so you change tires every weekend. It is there so the wheelset fits the bike and the riding you actually do. Next to your regular weekend rides, these wheels are just as much at home in the Paris-Roubaix cyclosportive as in the Tour of Flanders, or on a long mountain pass. The rim gives each tire in that range a proper shape and support, and if your riding changes or the wheels move to another bike, they simply come along. The 45mm depth gives you aerodynamic ease on the road without making the wheel feel nervous or twitchy in a crosswind.
