Bought something at 9thwave-cycling.com and changed your mind? As a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, received the product. You don’t need to give a reason.
During those 14 days you may handle the product only as far as needed to assess it, as you would in a shop. This does not include mounting tyres, using sealant or riding the wheels.
The direct costs of returning the product are for your account, and the product is at your risk until we have received it. On request we can arrange a return shipping label for you, for a fee that is deducted from your refund. This is available for countries where our return service applies.
Wheels that have been ridden, or fitted with tyres or sealant, can no longer be sold as new. If you have handled a product beyond what was needed to assess it, or it comes back damaged or incomplete, we deduct the reduction in value from your refund. For used wheels, this can be up to the full purchase price.
Once we have received and inspected your return, we let you know by email. We refund the purchase price, including the standard delivery costs, as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you notified us of your withdrawal. We may wait until we have received the product back or you have shown proof of return. We refund using the payment method you paid with, unless we agree on another method with you.
Haven’t received your refund? Check your bank or card statement first; processing can take a few days. Still nothing? Email us at [email protected].
We don’t exchange products directly. Want a different product? Return it as described above and place a new order. Defective or incorrectly delivered products are handled under our warranty policy; please contact us first.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
If we accept a return outside the statutory right of withdrawal as a gesture of goodwill, we charge a service fee of at least €50, which is deducted from the refund.
