The 37mm internal width gives 45 to 66mm tires a stable, rounded profile, so you can drop the pressure without the tire squirming in corners or on off-camber sections.
The 52mm depth adds stiffness and a bit of free speed on long flat stretches, while the rim stays calm in crosswinds.
Like every 9th Wave rim, SandStone uses ART, our Asymmetric Rim Technology. The spoke bed is offset from the centre, which evens out spoke tension between the two sides of the wheel. That makes the wheel stronger and helps it stay true for longer.
It’s the same rim we use in our SandStone gravel wheelsets. It’s hookless and tubeless ready, and inner tubes also work with a TLR tire. It comes with Badass Black decals or as a Limited Edition in Brushed Gold.
