This is the rim behind our Avalon SL3 wheelset: a staggered profile, 35mm deep at the front and 40mm at the rear, 23.5mm internal, hooked and rated for tires from 27mm up to 33mm. The shallower front keeps steering calm in crosswinds; the deeper rear adds lateral stiffness under load, not aero gain.
The ART asymmetric rim design keeps spoke tension even front and rear. Available in a 24-hole drilling for steel spokes, or 20-hole for our lighter Ninefold carbon spoke build. Hand built in the Netherlands to the same standard as every 9th Wave rim.
