  • Important!
Beware of brake surface overheating. These rims/wheels have a carbon brake surface. Carbon brake surface can only resist a limited heat. Only use 9th wave brake pads for carbon on these rims to keep the rims from wearing out. If you plan to ride these wheels in the mountains please be aware that the rims can become extremely hot during the descents. If they get too hot they will deform and will be unrepairable damaged. This may even result in a blown tire and a serious crash! We do not recommend carbon clincher wheels for mountain descending. Worn or damaged brake surface caused by overheating of the rims are usually not eligible for warranty service.
Keep your rides fun and safe!
